I find that there are invisible forces around us, and I wonder where they really come from, or what manipulates it all.
do you believe in Karma?
I had experiences, even little ones: I used to spit gum on the ground all the time until one day I was driving on the highway and my flip-flop got stuck on the gas pedal. I couldn't get it off. Luckily, I just took my foot out and then pressed the break. Since then, I never spit my gum out.

As a Buddhist, yes I believe in Karma. If there's a cause for something, there will likely be an effect. And similar to Newton's Third Law: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

Was it the same gum or is someone else facing the same so called Karma. What you sew you reap that is a fact of reality as true as gravity is. What did you do with the gum when you removed it? Gum Karma can get pretty wierd especially if you ever put it under a seat at a movie or in school of someplace wierd. It would be a great question as to where are the best places that you have departed from your gum and what did you do with it. Wow I wonder if there is booger Karma?

I had an experience like yours. I used to stick my gum under desks and tables, but I stopped about 2 years ago. Then, two days ago, my knee got stuck to some gum underneath a table.
Sometimes karma takes awhile to catch up with you.
Karma is our name for the idea that things you do will affect things that happen to you. What really happens is that being a good (or bad) person will bring good (or bad) people and events into your experience.
It's a simple mechanism. It's like playing catch with the universe. What you throw out gets thrown back at you.

Karma is the same as Reaping what you sow! And, yes I believe in both.
If you have the time to take a closer look you just might find there are many similarities between Hinduism and Christianity.
Have fun but be safe.

Oh yeah, totally believe in karma....in fact she is one of my best friends, seriously her nickname is Karma...
There are forces all around us we can't always see. What is really weird is when we do see them. Like when karma hits you back really fast, or you see if hit someone that did ill to you. When you smell someone that has passed....that perfect scent that lets you know they are still with you. The odd things we see when we are a bit sleep deprived......oh this one is good.....when you are angry and the street lights go out as you pass under them....shall I go on?

I do think I believe in karma. At least I like to think that if I am a good person, it will come back to me eventually. I have found that people who are nasty get it in the end.

there is no such thing as karma. what happen to you with your gum is what should have happened. now maybe just maybe, you will not spit out your gum for a reason beyond your eye sight. things happen for a purpose.
