When should I take out my cartilage piercing ?

I`ve gotten my cartilage done like 2 weeks ago. & it doesn't hurt at all. I turn it EVERYDAY. Oh & I want to change the earring before school starts.. Am I ready or should I wait ?

I changed my the day I got home. Just do it fast.

I was told not to change the earring for six weeks, and not to leave an earring out until it's been pierced for a year.
