are they prescribed to you? follow the directions if they are. if they are not yours, you shouldnt take them

I am a Registered Nurse and have worked in Alcohol & Drug Rehab for several years. It is not a pretty site to see someone being detoxed from any pharmaceutical. Ativan is a frequently seen drug in this type nursing b/c GP's seem to prescribe it too liberally. If you need it, that's one thing, but just to get a buzz...not.
(At least that was the mind-set of the Psychiatrist I worked with/for in this particular Detox unit.) Personally, I don't think it is overprescribed, so just follow the directions on the bottle.

I do not take any pill and I urge not to take anything to feel good. Chemical in your body is not the solution for anything. You need to seek help from psychologist or homeopathic doctor in order to get out from any depression or anxiety. Nothing wrong with you and do not let anyone gives you ativan and waste your money for nothing.Drug will always make you depend on it. I believe that you are smart and you know better. Move on and try to do thing right for yourself. Thank you for asking this question and you do many kids their favors and you are gutsy, I like you.

Good Lord, ativan is to make you relax from panic attacks and stress, it doesnt make you "feel good" in the sense of say painkillers. Anyway, ativan is on the low spectrum of nerve pills anyway.

How ever many the directions on the prescription say to take.......and they're right...if they're not yours DON'T TAKE 'EM!! They are know for causing physical and psychological dependance. You're probably a pill-head and don't care and think poppin pills is cool huh? Hopefully you don't die before you realize you're being dumb. good luck

It sounds to me as if you are wanting to be on your way to becoming a pill head and all.
If they are not prescribed for you then don't take them and if they are then FOLLOW the instructions on the bottle.

is this your prescription? ithe doctor who prescribed it to you is the one you who can best help you. if its not your script i would strongly suggest you don't take it for a feel good high it is a controlled substance and can be addicting. you may wake up dead just a dose of reality for you!!!

stop at the reccommended dose. only if your Gp or doctor has prescribed it to. Evryone will need medicine at some time of their life. dont worry.
