From a writer's standpoint, I like the visualization. I'm sure you're just having some fun tongiht with this question. But, I can't resist answering. If a husband can have cravings when his pregnant wife does, and if he can have sympathy labor pains, than why not have a fantasy pregnancy? Instead of being in a labor/delivery room at the time of birth, however, you may be in a padded cell.

No. You need to have the fusion of the nuclear material between the sperm and the egg and a place for the resulting zygote to nest for pregnancy to take place. Masturbating mentally will probably give you a headache or make you mentally pregnant or make you a mental case.

Mental masturbation, no. Mental sex, yes.

But not really pregnant.

Some people who really, really want children end up with a mental and physical condition that makes them think they're pregnant. Their belly will swell, they will have cravings, etc. They will actually give birth to sacs of water. Kinda gross, but not unheardof.

It gets weirder. Not only does that happen to women, but occasioanally to men! It's considered a mental problem.

If this was possible, college philosophy courses would be full of intellectually knocked-up co-eds. Sounds like Academia meets Appalachia!

Yes, and you can divorce your mental partner and ask them to raise the kids.

Fortunately for both of us, no. Since it's "masturbation", it's just you! There's no other person, so there's no sharing of DNA...therefore, there's no risk of pregnancy! Fantastic, isn't it?!
