I just answered a question like this saying something similar about Christianity. If you represented my country with a view like this, I would be ashamed of you and of myself, for letting my society get to such a place that people think like this, without my doing anything about it.
I believe the truth is that we have recieved a number of messengers from God. Jesus is my messenger, Mohammed may be for others and so on. All messengers proclaim spiritual enlightenment, a better way. All have a pathway to God and Heaven. All we have to do is obey the rules and follow with faith. As this is the case, why is it so hard to accept that we all climb the same mountain. We just dont see whats on the different sides.
Why is it so hard to see that we are all reaching out to the same God, but in different ways. Most importantly, why is it so hard to accept this and live in fellowship with our fellow man. Instead we have this cras almost perverse Agro and Venom that stirs evil black syrup into our community, purely to cause angst. What on earth is wrong with appreciating each other and enjoying life !!?

90% of all questions are statements in disguise. If thats ur opinion, so be it. But i still want to invite everyone (including u) to Islam, the Religion of Peace, Love, Harmony & Humanity. Don't take me word for it, Do Some Research urself with an Open Mind, and May GOD (ALLAH) guide u on The Path to Seek The Truth. Peace to All.

Muslims claim to worship the same God as Jews and Christians, and this is simply not true!
Allah is the name of an ancient moon god worshipped by pagans. The Catholic Church created the religion of Islam c. 3rd century CE as a means to pit the large Arab populations against the Jews in order to exterminate them so that the Vatican could take over Jerusalem. The plan backfired to some extent, but unannounced to the public through the media, the popes have regularly entertained terrorists such as Arafat, and Pope John Paul II has kissed the Quran in the presence of his audience of Muslim leaders.
I have devoted a series of blogs to this very issue, which will, in the end, also reveal the identity of Mystery Babylon and the woman that rides the beast as described in the book of Revelation. To see Part I and Part II of "Does Islam Worship the Same God as Jews and Christians?" - visit my 360 page. Below is the link to Part I of this continuing series. Part II is accessible from there.

Judaism is a perversion of Sumerian polytheism. Christianity is a perversion of Greek and Egyptian polytheism syncretized with Judaic perversions. Islam is a perversion of Arabic polytheism syncretized with Christian and Jewish perversions. Mormonism is a perversion of Christianity syncretized with European paganism...blah blah blah.
Every jerk that turns a corner invents a new religion from pre-existing ones, and once in a while it resonates with the zeitgeist and a new popular religion is born.
They're all the worst.

Isn't this question posed in an aggressive and provocative (not to mention nearly rhetorical) way, making it one of the worst possible methods of inquiry in "existance?"
Please, don't push your opinions and beliefs at others and attack what other's beliefs like this. Introduce what you think and use reason when you argue. If you do otherwise, your making a bad impression of what you stand for.

...hmm...I wouldn't call it the worst religion in existence. I would say that false churches that claim to be "Christian" but who actually preach a different gospel are the worst because they lure gullible souls into their assemblies in the name of Christ and give them a false assurance of salvation.
There's one poster here on Y/A whose profile says that he is a Pastor of an Episcopalian church in New England. I've seen him ask questions about how to get members of the Wicca religion involved in his church, about whether Christians should refrain from eating pork in order to honor their Muslim and Jewish "brothers", and even an answer where he claimed that Jesus was a proud bisexual man who "loved" everybody. To me that's far worse!

God is impartial to any religions even christian religions that deviate from the truth. There is only one true religion and one true way to worship and honour God and most religions even major religions in christianity fail and each having their noses in the political trough.
Before making assumptions about which particular is worse than another it is better to look at your own religion if you have one than point fingers at another faith.

earthangel,
I wouldn't suggest that it was a mixture, I would just call it an abomination and be done with it.
What makes it even worse than an abomination is the fact that it's started so much trouble. And the "peaceful ones" don't try to turn any of them in.
sick.
