I know this really hot girl at work and for the last few weeks we stare at each other and flirt in an indorect way.

Well I was in the lunch room and she came from behind me and began french kissing me. It was great but I did not give her permission to do this . Sure i like her but i considered this sexual harassment and filed a complaint with the office manager and she was fired because they have a ZERO tolerance for sexual harassment.

Just because guys flirt does not give girls permsission to violate them.

all the guys in my office agree she is hot but it gave her no right to violate me. did i do the right thing?

Tell me ur kidding! Its funny though i must give u that... But what are you thinking dude?!! You just got a hot girl fired for kissing you! Zero tolerance whatever.. You're such a loser man.. you talked about both of u flirting with each other over the last few weeks.. Indeed ur somewhat asking for it.. and now that she gave u a kiss.. a hot girl that is.. gave u a kiss.. and u got her fired for that! Its because of guys like u that many of us guys out there are having trouble with those ladies not trusting us. You stand by the rules so much that u forgot not to be a jerk or at least a gentleman. You've got much to learn... my son

Dude, are you that inane? Maybe she liked you very much, like you said, and she didn't know how to show it to you. She was too shy and she noticed that you were flirting back at her AND NOT making any moves toward her so she took the initiative.

And you said you liked her, right?

Is that what you do to people who you like?

And it was just a bloody kiss mate...get some hoohas. You should have said afterward, "So, does that mean we can skip the dinner part?" laughed, and then poured her a coffee and talked to her outside.

What a GREAT opportunity missed!!!

Unless you swing for the other team...well then, no major loss.

Technically, you did the right thing, although approaching her first about how you didn't appreciate her "gesture" might have been a better first step. Although, on the flip side, if one of the office guys did that to me (I'm a woman) I'd probably report it right away too,... unless I was on friendly terms with the person and thought maybe I gave him the wrong idea.... Hmmm, tough call.

But still, it just goes to show not all harassment is guys hitting on girls, it goes the other way too.

Yes you did the right thing, No one has the right to make such in invited advances, I am so proud of you for making such a stand. Maybe next time this person will think before acting in such a way!
Flirting by you to girls is also sexual harrassment so stop flirting you are giving mixed messages, it cuts both ways!

If you were flirting it's partially your fault for giving mixed signals. But that's another story. Legally and policy wise you are in the right... emotionally, that's something you'll have to answer yourself. Personally part of me agrees with you, while part of me wants to slap you for passing up such a great opportunity.

you found it unacceptable so, yes you did the right thing, you felt something was wrong, you spoke up and now you feel more comfortable right? and it doesnt matter if the person is "hot" or not, they have no right to do things like that without permission. plus if it was ZERO tolerance she should've known better than to do that at work.

*just wanna help*

ive heard of a lot of strange stuff and things that really go on in the work place i ussually work alone myself and im loyal to company policy most of the time but come on you could have damaged controlled differently unless your job is super strict

Well, sexual harrassment is repeated behavior over a period of time, so I think one incident of tongue kissing should not warrant a complaint. Also, are you single?

I can't believe what I just read. You like her, you flirted with her, the kiss was great, and then you had her fired. You need your *** kicked. You could have talked to her first and told her how you felt and if it happened again you was going to report her. Jerk!
