Well tomorrow's my parents's 19th Wedding anniversary. Me and my sister have gotten my mom a mothercycle purse (around 20$) and my dad a motercycle bandana (15$). Tommorrow after work (I work at DQ) I'm buying them a blizzard ice-cream cake (24.99$) Is this enough or should I get them more? Last year me and my sister got them a 40$ grandfather hanging clock thingy. They loved it. I'm just worried this year it'll seem crappy compared to last year. What would you do and how much do most people spend on their parents (I'm 14, first parent's anniversary with a job, previous years bought it with allowences)

it really is the thought that counts, and I think you did pretty good

You and your sister are GREAT kids. If you were going to do anything else... yeah, it's sappy, but make them a card. Draw it yourselves, or even cut pictures out of a magazine -- if you can find an ad with the right brand of motorcycle on it, that would be AWESOME. Glue pictures of your mom & dad on it, with some terrific scenery in the background, and say something sweet inside it.

Crikey, I'm actually getting the sniffles over you and your sister. Tell your parents from me that they should be proud of the pair of you, and happy anniversary!

It's the thought that counts. Most times I just get my parents a card that says what I am trying to say. You're parents don't need gifts after 20 years of marriage, they would probably rather spend time with you and your sister.

I would write them a letter from your heart and include a couple of pictures, tell them why they are great parents and how much you love them. The words from your heart will be the best gift of all!
Sounds like your parents have some awesome kids!
Have fun!

I think that you've done quite well.

Like the others have said, it's the thought that counts.

I only bought presents on the big anniversaries. 20/25/30

I think anything you get will be appreciated. Don't worry about it.
