You'll definately be able to fall in love again! You might not ever completely get over your first love (I still haven't), but you will definately be able to have feelings for someone else that are as powerful or more powerful than your old love.

Not to mention that new love is the best way to stop thinking about your old love as much!

I had a h.s. sweetheart for over 7 yrs. When we FINALLY broke up for good it was the one of the toughest things I've ever been through. I did fall in love again with someone and in so many ways it was better than the first time around. I still to this day have good feelings & thoughts toward my "first love" but it has changed - its not painful, just a memory of someone that was such a big part of my life.

You will always have feelings for that person seeing as how y'all spent so much time together. However, the love you have may turn in friendly love. You will definite find a true love. Now if he is your true love than you will find a way back to each others hearts. There is a true love out there for everyone. Its our job to find it. Also if you think that he is you true love then maybe you are not over him and you should see if he feels the same and if he does then maybe y'all can give it one more shot. Unless one of you did something unbearable. Pride is a fragile, but precious thing.

I'm not sure...I wish I could tell you yes, because you seem heartbroken...but true love is exactly that - true and pure love, once in a lifetime. The only thing that I can think to tell you is that even though it may seem like it now, what you experienced wasn't true love. It may have been just as strong, and just as special, but not the type you experience with your soulmate. If it was true love, then you'll get back together someday...if it wasn't, then you have someone even better out there waiting for you.

No a one true love is just that "1" it may not be the first or the last but it is the "1". But I seriously doubt it happens in 10th grade

You will always have lingering feelings for your first love. You will always love them, but it doesn't mean you are in love with them.

You will fall in love again. True love can come knocking on your door more than once. Love is about a mutual agreement and passion that you feel towards one another through the roughest of times. If you can find someone later in life to connect to again such a majestic way, I say, "You go girl!"

I deffinetly think you can fall in love again.. or atleast like someone a bunch again. But I'm pretty sure no matter what.. you'll always have some kind of feelings for the first person (or any person you like/love) you love. You might not have the love love feelings.. but deffinetly some.=D
