For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
prophet Gen 49:10, Num 24:17, Deut 18:15,18,19, Dan 9:24, Matt 11:3, Acts 7:37
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Deut 18:19
What this is saying is that everyone that does not heed to the word of Jesus will eventually be destroyed. In other words if you are not saved you will not be among the numbered to be in the population, I believe in the millennium.
It says, "it shall come to pass," and that means in the future sometime. It is prophetic statement and all prophecy is about future tense, not in the moment or even recent time frame. It is further talking about a Prophet doing the talking. When you rightly divide the Word of God, it means what it says and says what it means.

Because you are not applying correct exegetical principles to your interpretation of this passage, that's why.
Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
It is God who will destroy sinners who fail to answer the gospel call of Christ, not Christian believers. Of course I'm guessing that you already knew that and are merely on a "trolling" expedition but I posted for others who might want to know what you were talking about and who deserve to know the truth.

When it says "follow" it means that you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. We strive you be like Christ, and we want to follow His commands. But of course, no human being can be perfect, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Hope this makes sense.

Um, you REALLY misinterpreted that. Most people who try to porve stuff like this just use one verse in a group. When said altogether, it has a different meaning. Acts 3:22-23 says: "Moses said, 'The Lord your God will give you a prophet like me, who is one of your own people. You must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to that prophet will die, cut off from God's people." This means that those who are being spoken to should listen to this prophet, for he speaks the word of God. But if one does not listen, if he isolates himself, he will spiritually "die".

This is a tiresome error that keeps repeating itself. You can't just pick one verse out of the bible. If you read all the surrounding verses, they are quoting Old Testament scripture, yes. But you aren't quoting it in context. Since I see someone above has already done that (thank you)...I'll leave it here.

Funny, nothing is there about killing anyone.
Ac 3:23 Those who do not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’
Dt 18:15 The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me. He will be one of your own people. You must listen to him.
Dt 18:18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you. He will be one of their own people. I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him to say.
Dt 18:19 “The prophet will speak in my name. But someone might not listen to what I say through the prophet. Then that person will be accountable to me.

It's fortunate that your interpretation of scripture will never catch on.
Peter is referring to the fact that those who fail to accept Jesus Christ will not inherit eternal life, and will eventually perish, just as the desert Hebrews perished.
He's not advocating murder.
What are you advocating?

The Greek is translated "cut of from' not killed. Some translations say kill, but as stated the word kill does not always mean to murder, more a seperation or cut off.
