You believe that getting people on this forum to do your homework is all clever and convenient, don't you?

You have no idea how reprehensible it is that you won't even CRACK your Bible to see what's inside of it, do you?

Jesus at Calvary was the propitiation for all past sins.

The renewal or re-presentation of that one time, once for all, atoning sacrifice, in the Catholic Mass, is the present day atonement for current sins.

The final atonement will therefore be the Mass which is celebrated the moment before Christ returns in judgment.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned and do need the glory of God.
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Rom 3:25 Whom God hath proposed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to the shewing of his justice, for the remission of former sins ...

Jesus Christ was our atonement for sin when He died and then arose, went into Heaven and sprinkled His OWN blood on the altar of the Holy of Holies in Heaven. It was like The Day of Atonement for the Israelites, except their sins were not removed from existance, only removed from their presence. The sin still remained. With Jesus however, His sacrifice of Himself was so pure and perfect, sinless, He was able to actually destroy sin...and overcame it too by resurrecting.

Why should we think there is a "final atonement for our sins"?
The whole idea of someone or something completely unrelated to me atoning for my sins always struck me as rather ridiculous.
