Simply take a safety pen and poke it in the nozzle after you use it. Leave it in there until you get ready to use it again. It keeps most types of paint from clogging the nozzle.

try your local skateboard shops I know this sounds weird but many of them sell nozzles that spray diffrent patterns(fat caps). Also if this clog is happening often invest in a small can of xylene and soak the nozzles in it.

If I am not keeping them to make my own bound volume with, and they are still like new & placeable, they are used for that purpose. Just because a magazine is old, it is certainly not useless. At times we have been encouraged to bring in any older magazines to put on the counter, for those who can utilize them in their ministry. Sometimes they want a specific article from an older magazine to share with one of their Bible students, which copies they don't have, & they can't be reordered. In the past, I have used many that I have marked, and some which have otherwise become damaged somehow, by dissecting them, and carefully cutting out pictures (I use an exacto knife), headings & subheadings, with occasional paragraphs. These I group together according to subject matter, & eventually paste them---using permanent glue sticks & typing paper---& add the pages to a large ring-notebook 'scrap-book'. Instead of putting holes in the pages, I much prefer putting two pages back-to-back in clear page-protectors. When doing the cutting (on a heavy flat piece of cardboard), I eventually learned to pull in a very straight line, moving only my elbow. Also, instead of cutting ON any lines, I cut just outside of any lines, because the usual white background blends perfectly with the white of the typing paper. Thus, even if my cut is not perfectly straight, the discrepancy will not show. I use a notebook that has clear windows front & back, and pockets inside the cover. The sources of the 'scraps' are included in one of the clear windows, with 'scrap/s' specifically chosen for the cover & back. Most that I have dissected for this purpose were study copies. I often used two, so that I could use two pictures, etc. that were back to back in one of the magazines. I put tracts in the pockets. I have shared this 'scrap-book' with at least two people (relatives) who otherwise weren't interested in looking at our publications, but they took time looking through this, in large part because I had personally spent time putting it together. When there are too many non-placeable magazines, or I haven't time or space to use or store them, they get recycled with the other household recycle-ables.

I do recycle if they are very old and I have a lot of them building up. I don't like to though. I try to give them away when I can. I like the new arrangement of taking what you need rather than trying to project ahead of time. I love to go to the park and walk up to people and start speaking about a mag, usually older ones are what I use. It is easy to place many that way. People are relaxed and don't feel that you are invading their territory, 'so to speak'. We have a very large park in our town that has a couple small bodies of water with lots of ducks and swans, so like I said, people are feeling relaxed and friendly, so that helps. :)

Have you tried a paint or hardware store? I believe that Home Depot has them.
