Orson Scott Card is a Mormon: http://www.hatrack.com/osc/about.shtml

There is much debate on whether Mormons should be described as Christians.

If you call someone a Christian who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ then Mormons are Christians.

If you call someone a Christian who believes Jesus Christ is God the Son and the second person of the Holy Trinity then Mormons are not Christians.

With love in Christ.

Mormons, like Catholics call themselves "Christian" yet have decided to follow a man-made religion based on works, dogmas, rules, regulations, etc.

Jesus didn't put restrictions on his free gift of salvation.
