What are YOU talking about? That new testament applies for today. if you actually READ the new testament. we're still in the grace era and then the tribulation which is the absolute end days of this earth. So remember to accept jesus into your heart and life as your personal savior and ask to be forgiven of your sins and have it washed away with the blood of jesus and repent and always grow in christ.

If another testament were to be created, I think it should be called UNFORSEEN TESTAMENT. Based on the way things are going today, I cringe when I think of the aftermath. I somehow doubt, it wasn't God's plan to have things turn out this way and man is screwing it up BIG TIME.

Many christians would say it was either blasphemy or a sin however by accepting modern bibles they are doing so. Unbeknownst to them there were many stories that were "edited" out of the bible by the church due to conflicts with each other. One example is Jesus is said to have had brothers and sisters however the church wanted to keep Mary as a eternal virgin figure. The story cut out is included in Muslim holy texts. It is said that Joseph was a widower from an earlier marriage and had children before he was married to Mary. Also by accepting the bible in other languages meaning and metaphores have changed the book in several ways.

Mormons believe that they have a third Holy Book. Why not ask them what they call the New Testament?

There could be no additions to the Bible. The book of Revelation says that there will no more additions. Other religious books that add to the Holy Scriptures, such as the Koran, the Book of Mormons, or the Catholic Apocrypha, are blasphemous, and not from God.

Like, say, the "Book of Mormon"? Because that's what the book of mormon is - it's another testament for the bible. Only the mormons believe it, of course (thus them being called "mormons"), but it's exactly what you described.

I am not a Christian but I am going to take a guess here. I seem to remember something being said about it being a sin to add or take away from the bible so I don't think that will happen.

no, any "new" testaments created would be heresy, such as the Koran and the Book or Mormon.
