Non-human, supernatural powers, and for most monotheistic religions I think their Gods are always defined as omniscient and omnipotent. But, depends on the religion - I believe as a sociological trend you'll find most Gods have been defined to explain what can't currently be explained in the times of the men who described them. That is, for the Greeks, who didn't know what lightning was, Zeus/Jupiter was the God that "threw down" lightning. For Christians, who began to wonder what happens when we die and why we're here in the first place, Yahweh provides an answer to both.

Depends on your religion. Traditionally, people tend to think that some entity that requests worship (or deserves to be worshipped) and exists metaphysically, and has at least some "portfolio" or association with the material or spiritual world can be assumed to be a god. Of course, Christianity thinks there's only one real god (which is god) and all other "Gods" are fake. So by Christianity, the real god is god, whereas other than that gods are whatever humankind is ignorantly defining as god.
But hey, I'm agnostic, so why would I listen to Christianity?

There are many definitions to that word...I soppose you can take it as you like. I believe that a higher then human enitiy that is revered by humans would be considered a god or goddess...some believe it's an entity on a different plane of existance....I think its the name of energies that are unfathomable to humans so we had to put a name on it and give it a sex...god or goddess...take your pick so long as you believe

That is really THE question. Some will say look around you and ask where it all come from. But you could do that and know there is a creation going on and not believe in the God of Abraham. It can come down to semantics.

I think there is no specific definition. But rather an opinion or description of something bigger or more powerful than ones self. But It would be great to have one official definition that everyone could agree on.
