She did. She helped bury Him.

The spikes didn't kill Him, btw. Actual cause of death in a crucifixion was usually a combination of dehydration and suffocation/drowning. A s the body gradually dried out in the hot sun, what was left of the bodily fluids gathered in the lungs, which were being stretched beyond their capacity to inflate by the body hanging by its hands. The victim eventually became too weak to pull themselves up to breath any longer. Most people took days to die on a cross, but then, most people weren't scourged first.

Scourging was supposed to bring a man to death's door, and then release him. If he died after being scourged, it was his own fault for being a wuss.

Jesus was both scourged and crucified.

And Mary had to watch.

Are you saying Jesus wore spiked heels? Or are you talking about his crown of THORNS (not spikes)?
