My mom isn't so lame. When I was a youngster though I truly believed that she was and didn't know much about anything. Well I guess I was wrong because I am not a child any longer and now realize that mom was a lot smarter than I thought and knew more of the world than I gave her credit for.

Because sometimes we are so darn cool we can't see that our moms used to be really cool too. One day we will be lame to our daughters. That is just the human condition.

I love my mom, but lost respect for her when I learned that she never married my father before I was born. He didn't want to marry her nor did he want me. Too bad some people can't think ahead to their children's life and legacy for some selfish pleasure. That's why she is lame.
