I have had to move back in with my mom two times during my adult years. I know people look down on that, but it is what I had to due to get through the period of life I was going through.
I came out the other side and now have an even closer relationship with my mother because of it. Just remember it is only for a while and that you will move past this stage.

Break it down into do-able tasks - don't get overwhelmed. Work on one room at a time. Get items that you don't use often packed away first and keep out your essential items, including some pictures and CD's that you really like. Put on some music to help you get motivated. Dedicate a time that you will only spend packing - if you have friends close by, throwing a "packing" party, where they come over and help you pack - make it fun and people will come!

One trick I learned in cognitive behavioral therapy that I still use today is what I will suggest to you.
Make a deal with yourself. Say, I will work on packing for 15 minutes, then I can take a break and watch TV (or whatever is a break for you). When you take the break, make another deal, like I will watch TV until the next commercial break.
Usually once you have done this cycle a few times, enough has been accomplished that you start to feel less overwhelmed.

Dude, maybe you're depressed, but I cant tell that by your not wanting to pack.
EVERYONE HATES PACKING!
And a good deal of us arent thrilled about moving back in with our parents.
If you have one full month I say you have more time to slack off. Wait till there is a week left and pack one room a day.
For the next three weeks just enjoy life away from mom...

Take the tiniest baby steps you can. Suddenly you'll be running!
Start in one corner with one box, a marker, and packing tape. Put that corner into the box, seal it, and mark it. Repeat
Don't waste time trying to put like things together. Although it's nice it can be overwhelming. And if you're depressed you're probably not going to make good organizational decisions anyway. Right?
And if you mark what's in the box, you'll find it anyway.
You may be giving yourself more anxiety by telling yourself you have to do this the "right" way. Give yourself permission to do it your way.
You can sort everything into its proper place once you get to your mother's. If she has a problem it's her problem, not yours. Just be respectful if she vents on you. ;-)

You may need medication. Have you seen a doctor? If you get the right medication, you could be feeling much better soon. That might help you get motivated to pack.
