I'm wanting to spend about $100, give or take a little. The couple is in their 20's, just out of college. She is in banking, he is in landscaping. If you have any links to particular items, that would also be helpful. Thanks!

How about something from their registry? You are sure to please.
A gift I saw someone receive that I would have liked is a high quality embroidered (names, wedding date) wedding ring patterned quilt.

If they don't have a registry somewhere to go on, then try to find something that they can use. Gifts frequently get returned when the couple can't use them. While a statue may look great, it's not very practical. Try dinnerware, flatware, stemware, linens, etc... The household items that people use.

A nice set of crystal stemware is almost never a bad idea. Crystal is beautiful and elegant.

Silver is a good bet too. Try Things Remembered. They have many beautiful things that you can personalize with the couple's names and the wedding date. If you don't have one near you,

You know "unique" wedding gifts just get returned. Why not do something of real use for this couple and give them a gift certificate to a hotel, bed and breakfast or private cabin, to be used sometime in the 1st year when they need a rekindle. The other thing that is very much appreciated is a gift certificate at the place they are honeymooning to be used while they are there. My daughter and her new husband used the gift certificate we got them at the resort they were staying at on their honeymoon for massages. They were very appreciative.

The best gifts are practical and personal. If you can use it everyday, and will use it, it's perfect.

Some gifts my friend's have loved are a cookie baking set with a rolling pin, bowl, whisk, baking sheets, bowl, cookie cutters, and a package of cookie dough. It was practical and pretty (It cost me less that $50, but going with nicer stuff will cost you more). I have seen similar things done with movie themes (popcorn bowl, DVD player, blanket, DVDs) and a pool theme (towels, pool toys, margarita glasses).

I also find that people like gifts like wine-of-the-month or fruit-of-the-month clubs. It is a year long gift and great if the couple are winos.

You could also get them a gift certificate for a class. A cooking class or a massage class could make for a fun way to spice up their marriage.

Good Luck!

what does this couple do for fun? Do they go camping, hiking, etc.
Something ingraved is always nice. Go to personalcreations.com for unique personalized gifts.

Are they drinkers? I gave a "Margarita night" basket to my husband's cousin for his wedding. It have margarita glasses, lime green place mats, tequilla, margarita mix, hot pink candle holders, tortilla chips and a chip bowl. I put it in a huge tub that they could put ice and cold drinks in. His new wife loved it and said it was their favorite gift. Gift baskets are a lot of fun and pretty cheap. Go to the Christmas Tree Shop and the dollar store for a lot of it. Good luck

Either give them the money or a gift card, most couple take back gifts they don't like or have doubles. Your taste may be different than there's. Beside you can never get enough money.

Look at their registry. If they registered for sheets or towels, have them mongrammed. If they are not registered anywhere, buy a crystal ice buck and a nice bottle of champagne or wine with a box of chocolates.

if he is into landscaping you can get them a nice tree to plant in their yard (if they just purchased a home or are planning to) trees run from $50-$200 and attach a nice poem along the lines of "I hope your love grows, as this tree does, each year stronger with deeper roots." blah blah romantic stuff.
