my mother makes 50,000 yr . But i take cre of her two boys ages 16&17. What makes me mad is that she still tries to run my house hold. I have had them for over 8yrs but now i have got audited by IRS to show I should get the EIC credit. I did not go through the system b/c I was young and scared didn't know if they would try and take my boys away from me. So what do i do.

My question is how do i tell her to back off or step up? Also as far as the Irs is concern they say I now owe them over 5000 dollars

I don't quite understand what you are asking. Are these boys your brothers? What does getting the EIC have to do with being audited by the IRS? I don't at all understand what you are talking about here.

As long as you are doing right you don't have to worry.
Plus the boys are old enough to say where they want to live.

go to a judge and tll them your situation.....they should look out for you and make your mom pay child support..good luck....oh and your mom i dont know what to say but try to get legal help so she cant just come and try to rum anything if anyone you run things
