Two years ago I had my first "serious" relationship with someone. I broke up with him twice, the second time we broke it off as friends but then he angrily sent me an email after I had sent him a chain letter telling me I was a b-i-t-c-h which threw me over the roof since he was such a JERK in the relationship!!!!!
I still have deep anger to my ex and I still know his number and email. I've thought several times of getting revenge for all the crap he put me through but I want to try and be the bigger person. I waste so much energy being angry at him and I just want it to end. I have a new boyfriend now and I am very happy with him and a lot of the scars I received in my previous relationship are being healed.
I dont see the point in contacting my ex and it would probably infuriate me even more. Do I have any other options?

No, you shouldn't email him, b/c when he writes back, whatever he says will probably be mean and piss you off even more. OR, he might not write back at all, which is almost worse. And, the end result will be that you're angered by it.
Listen, it's a good thing you're not with him anymore. Obviously, that wasn't a good relationship for you to be in, otherwise you'd still be with him. Be thankful for the boyfriend you do have or else you might lose him.

God, I'm going through the exact same thing right now. Try not to think of him at all. Getting revenge is very tempting, I know. But like you said, you want to be the bigger person. Just ignore him. Don't try to talk with him or be friends, because it will only lead to more aggravation, believe me.
Be grateful that you are finally rid of him. I guess that things will just get better with time. I'm trying to deal with my hatred for my ex right now, so I'm sorry that I couldn't give better advice.

Just move on and be happy, holding on to what the x bf did just drags you down, and makes it hard on your new relationship.
