haha jk but NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION IN NEED HELP WITH LINUX ok i burned the iso file onto a cd, it is bootable, i have made the cdrom drive the first one in the boot order in the BIOS, and it will not run linux when i try to boot from the cd! evertime it brings up an error saying: "Cannot load DOS! press any key to retry" what should i do!?
i have used about 15 different cds 2 dvds and 3 different live cd distros of linux i need help

Did you burn the ISO using to correct format, or did you simply burn it into a CD like a normal file?You must use the Burn ISO function in your CD writing software.
After you burn the CD, if you read the CD from other computer, you shouild see a lot of files and directories, and not just a single file with the iso extension.

You computer is sick, throw away... hahaha. Sorry just joking. Your ISO file is not formatted to be linux file format, maybe you burned them on windows format. So.. check again...
