my recorded DVD says no disc in drive?

A friend recorded my wedding on a blank dvd that works in dvd player but im trying to get it onto my pc so i can get some still shots of it.I have roxio drag to disc. it just says no disc in drive? WHY???

do you have a dvd rom? if it's cd-rom, it may not play.
