I had four all about two years apart. It's a bit exhausting, but they provided each other with a lot of companionship. But before you have the next one, why don't you and your fiance GET MARRIED. It will creat a much more secure nest for your little ones.

I had my second son 15months and 3days exactly after my first. So i got pregnant pretty fast. my third son was born almost four years after my first and three after my second. I have found that the older two seem to get along easier and have more common interests. They tend to baby the youngest because of the age difference. It was diffucult having the first two so close but was not impossible. None of them were planned pregnancies.
My sister has polycistic ovaries and unfortunatly waited to long in life to try for kids she has reached a point where getting pregnant is out of the question.
My advice would be if your healthy and can handle the stress level of having two children close together and can get extra help when you;ll need it then go for it.
Good Luck.

My son is 10 months old and we are currently trying to get pregnant again. It's all about personal preference. My doc said that there really isn't a specific time period for your body to go back to normal. Everyone's body is different. If you have certain complications though, you should probably listen to your doctor. If you're not satisfied, try getting another doctor's opinion so that you are fully aware of your options.

Everyone is different. I had my first daughter when my son was almost 4. The age difference wasn't so bad. Then I had my youngest daughter one week before my daughter turned 2. Even though they were closer in age, it was so much easier for me. They are extremely close and look at their big brother as their bodyguard :-). I have a friend whose kids are 11 months apart and she seemed very stressed when the kids were babies and even now she seems too stressed to deal with them. So, yeah...everyone is different. Do what you feel is right..

My son was only 9 months old when I got pregnant again. I am currently 6 months pregnant. I think it will be nice though because I always wanted my kids to have a close relationship with a sibling because I never did and I think since they will so close in age they will get along better.

The best spacing for your body (and your sanity...lol) is at least two years between sibling ages. THis means that in order to give your body adequate healing time and to lower ther risk of complications in you and deformities in the next child you need to not get pregnant again until your first child is around 15 months. This is suggested by most doctors.

Space your kids at least two years apart. This gives your body a chance to recover from the first child.
