Only parts of it that are black (or gray) I want to change to red (or faded red)... can anyone help? All I have is Paint program. Can someone do it for me?

In Adobe Photoshop you can do this by adjusting the color balance to a redder hue. It's as easy as moving a slider bar and saving the picture.
