u and i have know eachother for 4-5ish years... we are really good friends.. even though youve lived far away for about 2 of the years we've known eachother(not that far away ) last year.. i told you i liekd you.. you were fine with it.. but u just wanted to stay friends.. i said okay.... now... u and i are in 8th grade and i invite you to my birthday party... i have to pik you up, becuz thats the only way you can come.. now..t he question... if i give you a hug when i see you, would you fereak out/ feel funny.. or be okay with it...?

Now, this is why every time I see questions about dating a friend I advise you stay away from those situations. Yes, guys do feel funny, because now its not a friendly hug, its an "OMG I get to touch you, and Im close to you *drool*" hug. I know its hard to have a crush on a friend, but its much worse to lose a friend by getting too close and crossing the line.

it wouldn't be weird at all. As gay as it may sound, I absolutely love hugs haha. I'm not gay at all (happily in love with a girl) but I'm just an affectionate guy. I'm 16 now, but regardless, when I was in 8th grade, all the guys I knew hugged their female friends, and the girls hugged the guys. It's not a sexual thing or even a sign of more than friendly affection, it's just a friendly thing. Especially if you've known a guy for 4 or 5 years.

Why you ask perhaps in two decades time then you definitely were in a relationship you'll recognize why teenage boys contact themselfs. Its because it feels so good, at that certain age there hormones initiate to kick in sometime there choose will be more advantageous than different days because of there body being swapped by using sex hormones and in view that it feels so good...... As there body's are being swamped with sex hormones for the first time in there lifes and they fantastic it so troublesome to regulate themselves a bump on a bus or a quite woman with wearing a good gown is in basic terms adequate to get them excited. Oh and did I ignore to assert they do it because it feels so good for them?

Yes, you can hug him. You are both old enough to hug each other without either of you feeling funny about it. Besides, it feels nice to hug a girl.

Anyway, if I were, hypothetically speaking, this guy you like ('cause I'm just so hott and awesome-looking *wink* lolz), then I would most likely feel funny if you hugged me, knowing that you like me even though I want to be only friends. In my mind, the fact that you like me would be a vivid thought, and a simple gesture like a hug would seem awkward.
