It's just rain...

I take my children out in the rain to play and we love every minute of it! Since they were babies we have danced in the rain.

If it is cool to you then you did the right thing by dressing your kids that way but I have to say, my kids could wear shorts all winter and never complain they're cold so to each his own. (No, I don't let them wear shorts all winter I'm just saying they don't get cold easy even when I put on a sweatshirt they resist)

Rain is a beautiful, natural, life giving necessity. Embrace it.

Kids are usually overdressed. Parents think they're made of crystal. Mine would have run barefoot in the snow if I let them. I remember my brothers did. We couldn't wait for the snow to be gone so we could go barefoot. It meant freedom! It was great! Mom always made us wait until the snowbanks were gone though. My kids were ready to go swimming as soon as the first holes appeared in the ice. Their dad sometimes let them and they're all tough and healthy. I feel sorry for your kids. And you should maybe mind your own business.

I doubt if sandals kept your children's feet much dryer than her kids. If taking kids to the mall I would have shoes or sandals on them but I see no problem with them playing in the rain barefoot.

I go outside barefoot all the time. Most hobbits do. You are discriminating against hobbits with your defamatory remarks. I insist you cease your prejudiced and vile remarks immediately. Oppression of hobbits everywhere must cease.

My hobbit children also enjoy their barefoot heritage. I will not deny them this right, and yeild to your oppression.

Foot fungus grows in the foul damp darkness of old wet shoes. A naked foot is a healthy foot, frolicking in the cool refreshing rain or basking in the warm sunshine.

if the worst thing this poor mother did was let her kids go barefoot in the mall, wow let's throw the book at her now. to heck with all those mothers out there that won't let their kids come into the house when it's raining as they don't want to be bothered with spending time and dealing with them. those ones are alright, but this mother who let her kids go barefoot should be taken out back and shot right? who cares, they are not your kids!!

There's something terribly wrong with a person who doesn't let their kids play out in the rain, especially barefoot.

I let my kids play barefoot out in the rain all the time. So far they haven't died from it.

Sheesh!

how do you know that something didn't happen and she was at the mall getting new shoes, huh? One day at the park, my daughter had a mishap and peed. Where did the pee go? Into her shoes. So, I ran to the store that was across the street, bought her new shoes and the crisis was over. Don't overreact. Just another Mom that thinks she's better than everyone else.

its rain, come on. I live in the country, my sons pick up all kids of bugs dose that make me a bad parent, doubt it. We were at Sea World and all the workers were freaking over a Roach, my son went over pick it up and tossed it out side. They were like you let him play with bugs, I told her we live in the country there everywhere, thank you.
