In the guys defense... after somewhat of a long period of time using the other persons name, sometimes its just force of habit. Nothing is really meant by it. I was married 7 years, and still when I get upset and not thinking I call people her name out of habbit. We don't mean anything by it, and it helps sometimes if you just understand the situation, or ask him why he does it. Odds are its a slip of the tongue based on habbit. Look on the bright side, if you 2 ever break up, some poor girl is going to be you!

If it is early in the relationship I can see it happening. Especially if it is during an arguement. I slipped up that way once and the names weren't simular but the fight was ! We both got over it. As long as it wasn't in the bedroom I wouldn't make a big deal over it.

Yes fortunately for him it was not during sex but instead when he was absoulutely pissed off at me for something I did. He imediatly began apologizing and I told him if he ever called me that again I would leave him so fast it would make his head spin the whole time he saying I'm sorry I'm sorry

I guess it depends on the situation. If he were to call you her name while in the bedroom, that's inexcusable. One time my boyfriend called me his ex wifes name just in conversation and purely by mistake. I understood because he had been married to her for 22 years.

No, but I did. I was dating this guy which happened to be my ex boyfriend's friend and got drunk and called him my exs name. Never saw the guy again, started dating my ex again, and now I don't have either of them.....

It depends. If he was with his gf for a long time and he just says it not thinking then don't worry about it. Other times like having sex....dump him because not only is that rude...its hilarious !!

i've never done it, but if it happen to me i would not just ignore it. I'd openly talk about it before it become to big for either of you to deal with.
