From the atheist perspective, the question is moot... there is no Hell to go to and so it's pointless to ask if people will "go there" when, again, "there" doesn't exist.
From a Christian point of view, no, those who are saved through faith in Jesus Christ are going to heaven... Catholicism is just one path.
From a Catholic perspective... mixed results. Many many Catholics I know don't believe all non-Catholics are Hellbound, but then again, I'm not sure about the OFFICIAL church stance. It's probably in the affirmative, that everyone else IS doomed.

Hello neridale
There is no ever burning hell.
The English word hell is written 23 times in the New Testament King James version. It is translated 11 time from the Greek word hades {hah'-dace} which means grave.
It is translated 12 times from the greek word geenna {gheh'-en-nah} which should have been rendered "Gehenna" or "Gehenna of fire". ". This was originally the valley of Hinnom, south of Jerusalem, where the filth and dead animals of the city were cast out and burned; a fit symbol of the wicked and their future destruction.
It is the place of the future punishment of those that will not enter into the Kingdom of God. A one time punishment not an eternial punishing.
An Italian Florentine poet, Durante degli Alighieri, better known as Dante Alighieri or just Dante, June 1, 1265 – September 13/14, 132, created the idea of the hell that is taught to the world. Through his stage play la Divina Commedia (The Divine Comedy) the whole world has been and is being decived about a place that does not exist nor will it ever come into being.. The Divine Comedy describes Dante's journey through Hell (Inferno), Purgatory (Purgatorio), and Paradise (Paradiso). It was only a play, the works of the imagination of a man. However the Roman Catholic Church took the idea and ran with it and has long since convinced an unsuspecting world that
the writings of Dante are indeed an acurate rendition of a place of eternal punishing of all evil people. God is in total disagreement with the Catholic Church and all other that preach and teach that there is an ever burning hell, a place of eternal punishing, a place where the evil go after death.
Here is the description of what God tells us will happens to the evil people.SINNERS.
Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day is coming, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day thats coming shall burn them up, say's the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:3 And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, say's the LORD of hosts.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
I do hate to break your bubble. The beast and beast power soken of in the book of Revelation are to be guided by the Pope. It will come much sooner than you believe.
Half of the City Jerusalem will soon go into captivity. It may happen within a few months. It will occur in the near future and you will wittness it. When you see this come to pass, bend over and kiss youself goodby.

No, but going to church can be a form of hell unto itself. Different people, different hells. It is doubtful than non-catholics will go to a catholic hell. Unless they work at a Roman Catholic Church. We all know about the saying about work being hell...sometimes hell is other people. The same could be said about heaven. Perceptions are important.

The Catholic Church states,
About Non-Catholic Christian Churches: "Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth" are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: "the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements." Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church. All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him."
About Judaism: "The Jewish faith, unlike other non-Christian religions, is already a response to God's revelation in the Old Covenant. To the Jews "belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ"; "for the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.
About Islam: The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day.
About other non-Christian religions: All nations form but one community. This is so because all stem from the one stock which God created to people the entire earth, and also because all share a common destiny, namely God. His providence, evident goodness, and saving designs extend to all against the day when the elect are gathered together in the holy city.
With love in Christ.

The true teaching of the Catholic Church does NOT say all non-Catholics will go to Hell. And many Catholics will.

Well,I belong to a religion where another man,nor praying to a man will get me into heaven, neither in our religion can you give enough money,no matter you sins and receive dispensation,ie.buy your way into heaven.Neither is my religion led by a bunch of child molesting priests who's leaders protect and relocate these predators.I believe,if I were Catholic,I'd be worrying about my own azz hitting hell wide open! Of course that's just my opinion!

No !
It isn't Catholics - v - Non - Catholics !
The question is what will you do about Jesus ? Will you accept Him as your Savior, or will you reject Him as your Savior ?
If you are Saved, it wont matter weather you are a Catholic or a Protestant. Salvation is in Christ not in the origination.

Definitely no.
There is no safety for both Catholics and non-Catholics.
The requirement of Christ is not to bear the label, but to do the Will of the One True God. If you do, that is heaven; if you don't, that is hell.
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
(King James Bible, Matthew)

I don't think so. Perhaps you should request an audience with the Pope and see what he says. I think the Pope expects heaven to be filled with Catholics only. What does he know?
