That depends on how you perceive your blessings and lesson that God has for you, A big misconception is that once you become a Christian your life is suppose to become easier. And that's just not true. The bible says storms will come. I believe it is all how we handle things.

yes there is both, but the problem is that many people pick and choose what is positive and what is negative. some twist the positive and the negative to suit their own cause. some follow it as they would knowing right from wrong. people listen to the positive and ignore the negative to suit their agenda. or claim the negative as their positive. it also depends on the FULL interpretation of what they are using. you cant use just 1 scripture in a whole book(book meaning like Mathew 5:1-48 verses just Mathew 5:17 alone( which i do use allot because it says to still follow the old testament where many Christians say that the new is the only one to follow. they claim that Jesus came to fulfill and basically replace gods law not so) see i did what i said. i am guilty of picking a 1 out of all. but if you do that it gives people a reason to look it and read the full scripture. at least i hope they read the whole chapter. up and see that he wasn't here to replace, but to teach the old. also seeing that it matches john 3:17 and john 12:49.
