Well there are a lot of variables about that. I will state some and leave it at that: 1 who is driving/ 2 standard or automatic transmissions/ 3 carburated or injected/ 4 which year of production GT and Z/28. Now ask the question again after you decide on which of these variables is in play. Not trying to be an *** just been street racing over 20 years.

I would say Mustang, Because if my 71 mach can blow a camaro away in a race that has no problems and I'm not running on all cylinders, then there is defiantly something wrong with the souped up camaro. I've seen many races with camao's and trans am's and they lost to the stallion every single time!!

Don't forget....Chevy has to put a bigger motor in a Camaro to keep up with the smaller 302 or 4.6. Mustangs RULE!!!!
