(this happened to me a few times, but..) one night i was just lying down and all of a sudden my heart starts racing, my ears ring so loud it hurts, and I can't move a muscle. This lasts for a few seconds. I need a serious answer for this. It wasn't a panic or anxiety attack... it felt even stranger. And don't tell me I need to go to the hospital because I've already gotten that answer too many times. I need to know the exact name that those symptoms formulate. PLEASE HELP!

That sounds like a Panic attack to me. I've had them too. Why don't you think it could be this?

I thought I was going to die the first time I had one.
Probably wouldn't hurt to see your doctor to rule out something more serious.
Maybe you had a seizure of some kind.

Honestly?? it really does sound like a panic attack.....for five long years i suffered from panic. Panic can come in many forms. I had severe panic, my heart would race, I couldnt see, move, breath.... you would be surprised how bad those attacks can get. Force yourself to move when it happens, get a cold soda go for a walk outside, go for a jog. It helps having a friend or someone who knows whats going on that way when it comes you can talk to them to get your mind off of it.........It can be overcome..It just may take some time......

I'm wondering if it's a blood pressure problem. Try getting a blood pressure monitor, the digital kind you can do yourself, and get some readings throughout the day

Maybe it was a seizure. I know you said you don't wanna go to the hospital, but I seriously think you should, because it sounds like a seizure to me, and those can cause brain damage. Your doctor can prescribe medication to stop them, if they are seizures.

My best friend has the same problem; doctor told her it was something to do with acid reflux, and another doctor told her it was her blood pressure.
