The painting is of 4 horses, 1 in the foreground is white, 3 in the backround: another white horse and 2 brown ones. I found a lot of information about Lumen Winter on the internet, but no mention of a painting similar to this one. Its fairly long, barely fit in the cab of my truck. Its in really good shape. I only paid $15 bucks for it at Goodwill in Missouri. I just wanted to know if I should spend the time/money getting it appraised for insurance.

Maybe you should, it may range from $200 -$900, but it maybe a fake too. Maybe you could take it to the antique road show and get an appraisal.

OMG you have the 4 horse Winter painting!!!!!!!!!!! It was stolen from the Guggenheim Museum in Bilboa Spain. It was on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York city. Did you know they have a $100,000 reward for its return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You lucky bastard.
