I had a one nighter with this incredible guy who was in town for a few days. He lives really far away from me, and hasn't expressed a huge interest in doing a Long Distant thing... I used protection (obviously didn't work), and I am almost positive that I am pregnant. Do I tell him? I am not in any position to have a baby right now and I don't want him to think I did this on purpose... what do you suggest I do?

I would get a positive blood test and then decide what YOU are going to do. Are you going to even have this child? If you aren't...it is really a moot issue to tell or not. Men get pissy at this...but ultimately YOU have to decide what is going to happen with YOUR body, YOU have to decide what YOU want done with your body and since it was a one-night stand...I wouldn't tell him unless you plan on having the baby. A man's true colors come out when they are confronted with this and if it is a one-night stand expect to hear "Well it isn't MINE, I used a condom" or "What are YOU going to do about this?" or maybe worse. If he is decent and an actual man...he could be VERY supportive in talking to. You just have to gauge it.

If you are going to have the baby...yes, of course you should tell him preferably before the child starts asking "Who's my dad?"

Good luck! : )

Find out if you are pregant or not FOR SURE . Then tell him, there is a good chance he won't believe it's his, but he has a right to know. Plus, you might need support financially at some point and it would be worse to call him up in two years.

i would get tested before doing anything. if you're pregnant, tell him after you find out. he has every right to know, and needs to help support the child. it's not your fault the birth control didn't work. if you were only using one form of b.c that isn't smart, but if pregnancy happened, it happened. you need to make the decision together on whether to keep, adopt, or abort the baby.

Get a home pregnancy test or report to your doctor ASAP for a pregnancy test to find out for sure. You have to know for sure where to go from there. And then, yes, you absolutely have to tell this guy. I can't tell you what his reaction will be, but he shouldn't be too shocked, as anytime you have sex (with protection or not) there is a possibility for a pregnancy.

yes, dont have one nighters with random guys. plz have some respect for urself, later girls/women come up to the guy and blame them for get them pregnant. Dont tell the guy and dump the kid, u got it by mistake. if the child will come into this world(u will put him up for adoption) and he wont have any parents to love him and look after him, which every child needs and deserves.

if your positive your pregnant by him-the best thing for you to do is to tell him. it wouldnt be nice to live life with that little white lie. if your having doubts that he may not be the babies father, there are plenty of clinics to get all this stuff checked out. do the right thing and good luck

Well wait till you know for certain. Then you should probably tell him. You didn't do this on purpose, but you should still tell him and tell him that you're not expecting a relationship or anything, but most of all what you plan to do.

Absolutely you have to tell don't do anything against the baby because is not his fault and you will commit a crime if you do. Tell this guy about it.

I would wait till you know for sure, just thinking isn't good enough, but yeah, if it comes back that you are... he has ever right to know.
