food from the prison cafeteria. Usually its good food because some prisoners are excellent cooks. When I visit my dad out in the boonies we have a choice of eating out at the prison or the charity hospital/covescelent home because there are no restaurants. I'll prefer the prison cafeteria. You can't beat prison food.

They feed you food and they also can go to the store like thing they have in prison and buy stuff if they have money on there account.

You would be surprised how good the food is in some prisons. others are not so good. The biggest complain is that it is the same stuff week end and week out and you don't get a menu.

really nasty food. mostly rice and beans. small portions and usually cold. However people can send u money and then you can buy snacks and drinks and things

of couse it varied from place to place. .also what big dog siad isnt really true. I was locked up on thanksging and all i got was a tiny piece of cold chicken, a stale piece of bread and some cold mashed potatoes. It isn't all that great.

they have regular meals ,kosher meals ,diet meals all is state food comes in bulk go figure boring is cause they are doing a long bid and there is only so many meals they can make most go to the commissary and buy their own food or have sealed packages brought into them from home they have pizza fish broiled,fried{patties} raviolis,spaghetti beans the list goes on

And, if you can be trusted and you behave yourself for fifteen years, you may have a choice of either working in the kitchen cleaning pots and pans or mowing the Wardens lawn.

...Also, if you 'please' the other inmates in the shower area, you may be handed an extra cigarette. Just don't forget to soap down, first.

Usually all food that is made with ground beef is instead made with ground turkey.

Lots of macaroni with ground turkey.

Not necessary what is being served just isn't seasoned very well.

every type of food you would do anywhere, some prisons have better food than others.

Lots of oatmeal and pancakes. On holidays(Christmas and Thanksgiving), they feed them the works. Turkey, ham, mashed potato's, pumpkin pie, apple pie. You name it, they get it. Courtesy of the tax payer.
