Try this self-test first, and be very honest with yourself.

By the way, my therapist once told me that saying, "Of course you're depressed" when your life's sucking is like saying "Of course you've got a broken arm" when you've been in an accident. Either way, you still *treat* it.

It all depends on how long you've been feeling this way. If it is only sinse the weekend, then this is normal and the feelings should clear soon. If this is a repeating pattern, then it sounds like this could be a Mood Disorder, such as Major Depressive Disorder or Dysthymia (which is recurrent depression, more days than not, over the past 2 years with no longer than a 2 month period without depression). If this is the case, try talking to a psychologist. You will be glad you did once the depression is treated. If this isn't the case, and you've only been feeling this way for a few days, give it some time and try to feel better.

this seems more like a case of oposition than depresion ,though it may be a let down its not a true case of depresion (depresion acures wityh out reason or ryme ) mabe a heart to heart talk with your parents will help mabey not , therte is only one way to know . parents are people too be honest .
as parents your mom and dad wish to prorect you ,it's only natural you need to talk on an adualt level . consider there position they have most likly ben through the same thing .
ytour parents know what it means to be a teen , remind them.

remember , no matter what the cocequence honesty is always the best policy.

It isn't depression. It is guilt.
Men come and men go....but family stays forever.
Your first and foremost should be to your family not your boyfriend. Build your relationship up with your parents. Go home and quit acting so immature.

Whatever you did to make them scold you, STOP DOING IT, and you'll be fine.
