every year for 6 yrs, this year he said i was getting nothing, ha what do you think about this?

It's the beginning of the end! When you stop giving gifts you're too comfortable with each other. My husband and i stop giving gifts a long time ago. Number 1 we can't afford it and numbers 2 we don't need to give gifts to know how much we love each other. but every once in a while is fine you to perk things up a bit of course I'm only 22 but you don't want to get settled in a relationship. he's probably thinking i he gives you something all the time then a few year from now your gonna want things all the time, and when you don't get them you'll be mad. i guess he's just preparing you. Then again he may not can afford what you really worth to him, with gas prices and all.

Maybe he thinks now that all those gifts are VAIN, which is quite true.
I do think that after 6 yrs, gifts might be less important.

my bf gave me nice gifts to even as we were breaking up I got diamond earrings for christmas. When I asked him why because we really had already broke up (he had moved out in November) he answered well if this is our last christmas together I wanted to get you something to remember me by. good luck in finding out why he said you were not getting anything this year!

meaterailestic! Anyway he probaly is running low on money. And if not it doesn't mean that you are falling apart or anything. (then again it might) You should look on the bright side of thinhs not just say it is over. Best Of Luck!! =o)

i think he is one of two things either he is testing you to see if your with him for the gifts or him...or he is falling out of love and maybe even spending that money on nice gifts for someone else...idk maybe maybe not...how is he behaving?? and gud luck!

I think maybe you should try giving nice things in return,and that you focus on matirial things that don't get you far in life. Focous on your life not the things you think make it what it is......Get a life!!
