She's had the worm treatment at the vet a few times, and they are back again. I heard that garlic works. Anyone know if it's true?

Thanks

no garlic does not work. if she has intestinal parasites again she is probably reinfesting herself in your yard. you need to clean up all fecal material as soon as she goes and then call your vet for another round of dewormer.

Anything you have heard from garlic to vegetable oil will not rid your pet of worms. Only a vet can rid the puppy of worms with the proper medication.
If your pup has been treated for worms a few times, obviously it is either reinfecting itself or is being exposed to infected fecal from other dogs.

There is no home remedy that will successfully kill worms, but you can go to walmart or a farm and home supply and buy safe-guard and it will kill all worms but pin worms. It is a three day wormer and it comes in a powder that you mix with the dogs food. Look at the package and it will tell you which box to get for what size. This wormer is very effective and works really good and it is about 9.00 per box.

Your yard has worms in it and she is getting re-infested. You need to have your dog wormed at least four times a year by a vet. The stuff you can buy over the counter usually only does one kind of worm. Garlic will make dogs anemic.

to in simple terms be sensible you eliminate each and each of the worms follow up with dewormer for 2 more beneficial remedies each 2-3 weeks, then a fecal afterwards. it truly is the advice from CDC, in view that worms can bypass to human beings, toddlers and elderly more beneficial in threat. The worms stay in cycles so one deworming is in basic terms not adequate.

You can even go to Walmart and get stuff. Garlic doesn't work. You need to pick up her poop outside and toss it. She can get worms again by eating other dogs poop. You can also get worms so make sure you are wearing shoes when bringing her outside.

Your dog has a parasite infection. You need to get her treated. Parasite infections that are left untreated can be extremely harmful to a dog and can kill them if left untended for too long. You need to keep your dog on regular monthly preventatives which includes heartworm treatment. The heartworm meds will take care of most parasites as well. Get your dog to the vet.
