I know that green beans and carrots are okay and my dogs love them.

Yes some vegetables are okay for dogs... IE carrots, pealed cucumbers, pickles (I'm not joking) Our dog gets no other foods that are typically for human consumption aside from the odd carrot, blob of peanut butter and a raw egg in her dry food occasionally. We would not feed her celery and I have nothing to back this up but.... I'd say no to broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage as these may cause your pup to go on a gassy rampage stinkin up the place... you know what I mean eh?! That's all I know for now. And seriously now there are a few definite NO no's, like chocolate!

I never thought of dogs being willing to eat veggies... but my pit loves 'em. Of course, like any dog, he eats anything you give him, but he especially likes cucumber and tomato. And carrots. And bananas! Scary about the apples and grapes... I giv him a little bite now and then and he's never had any problems... God, I hate that what I don't know can hurt him!

I mix string beans and carrots in my dogs food at ever meal. The string beans serve as a filler to control their weight.

I know your asking about vegetables, But just to let you know never ever give them grapes or raisins, these two can be deadly to dogs.

My dogs love baby carrots and they are good for them. They help clean their teeth. Onions and garlic are two of the things you should not feed them. Raw vegetables are better for them, as they have fewer calories than if they are cooked with butter or salt. Dogs don't need the butter or salt.

I was told most vegetables are fine for dogs, make up a stew with rice or pasta. Apparently though onions and capsicum are very bad for them.

I used to give my dogs a can of the mixed vegetables mixed in their kibble. They loved it and I never had problems with it.

Any vegies that he\she takes to. My animal companion tends to only eat grass (even though I have given him the choice of many different vegies in the past).

He also loves cheese!!! :)
