I don't want to know your religion, or lack of religion. I just want to know whether you believe you serve Love or Fear.

Do you encourage Love in others, or do you encourage Fear?

I serve love. I would rather live, love and die young, than grow old in fear.

Love encourages risk-taking and exploration. Love gives us strength when we didn't know it was there. Love leads to creation, growth, learning and understanding.

Fear causes distrust, distrust causes hatred. Fear limits us to that which is "safe" and that which is allowable within the realm of safety. Fear keeps us from knowing our neighbors, and thus loving them. Fear prevents us from thinking independantly and learning new things.

Neither! Those things are not worth 'serving.' I live my life aspiring to the same goals I encourage in others, to learn as much as I can, keep an open mind, and treat others honestly and well.
Love and fear enter everyone's lives. Happiness occurs when you keep them in balance. Too much of anything, even love or fear, tends to make one value it less. If you have to have something to serve, serve the greater good, and a hopeful future.

That is a common misconception - thinking these two are opposite. If you love your master you fear to misplease him - not in an unhealthy way but in a respectful way. Therefore you can only serve the true creator or the master of the lie.

No fear. Serving Love, perfect love.

I believe I serve love. I believe in letting others be happy with who they are. I believe in letting others pursue their own happiness regardless of how it affects my own. In the end, I have to make my own happiness as well and can't use anyone as an excuse for my choices other than myself.

I believe funtionary01's definition of his views as being the same as my own. He chooses to define that only as a state of happiness, while i feel it is a state of love. Love of myself mainly. If you cannot love yourself first, then you cannot love others.

Fear and love are different manifestations of the same psychological force; in short our need for security as it ascends Maslow's Hiearchy. All human being 'serve' this

Love, I understand fear so much at this point in my life. Fear is in everybody, but I like to steer on the love side.
