left semen in the seat and was apparentley disturbed. After reporting this incident to the UNITED flight attendants, nothing was done. Passenger returned to his seat and flight attendants scattered afraid of what his reaction would be if caught, all the while leaving me with him. Pilot was informed and asked how to handle and I was advised that no one was sure what to do. They would not move me and no action was taken till flight landed. When we first boarded plane this same passenger asked that I leave my armrest up and this entire act took place while he was leaning into my assigned seat, touching me. He exposed himself to me purposefully as well. Same passenger followed me through to my next gate at the Denver Airport where I was boarded on my next flight immediately and was safe. The attendants on the first flight gave me two customer relations cards to acknowledge the problem and I also have pictures of the semen left in the seat.THIS PROBLEM WAS RELAYED TO ME & I HAVE NO ANS.

Maybe United added some, em, "spicy" channels to their inflight entertainment? Uh w_ank-you, w_ank you very much.

You could have said in a clear loud voice, "DO YOU NEED A BLANKET TO COVER UP WHILE YOU'RE OPENLY WANKING RIGHT THERE?! I CAN CALL FOR A FLIGHT ATTENDANT IF YOU NEED SOME HELP."

This is a serious problem. Suppose this perv had been seated next to a child. You should definitely report this incident to United and also to the airport's police.

This is gross indecency and should be treated just like any 'outrage of modesty' case - apprehend the guy and hand him over to the airport police upon touchdown.

Be responsible and protect other passengers - lodge a report against the airline for not taking action. What if he next travels seated next to a young unescorted child?

If this is what the airlines do, then it is a potential security breach which future air-terrorists could use to keep the staff away from them, by pretending to 'fiddle' with themselves!

OMG!! dude I commend you for not going postal! I don't know what I would do, if the plane was or was not full, I would have demanded to be moved, and/or talk to the pilot or whomever was in charge, second in charge, whatever. I guess I would NOT let this go and I would call, write, call and write again until someone acknowledged the airlines disregard for your safety. IF all else fails go to the news media. If you were a female and this happened would you not consider it being assaulted in some form? stand up for yourself and for all the poor suckers that will encounter this freak as well!!

If this problem was "relayed to you", first find out if it's true- with all the problems in the air right now, I can't imagine that the crew "did nothing" and that the man wasn't immediately arrested upon arrival. If it really is true, and the crew did indeed do nothing, you might want your friend to contact the biggest ambulance chaser (read: lawyer) he/she can find. It sounds like a money-making lawsuit, American style.

If the airline refuses to handle it, I'd make a grand issue of it. Go to USAtoday.com and contact their travel editor. Her name is Linda Burbank. She tries to get answers when their are none. I would write to the travel magazines. But first, I'd call in the compaint to the airline once again, document all phone conversations and the people you spoke to. When they get wind that you'll go to the media, you will at least find yourself with a free flight in the future. Good luck!

That's bad. They should have called police to arrest him for indecent conduct/exposure. I am surprised they didn't once they landed. If you know his name, give the copies of photos to someone at police station and file the complaint against him. I am sorry it happened to you. The flight people didn't do anything if there's no law against masturbating in the air. But still you have to make this incident known.

This man seems to have serious issues. The airline can find the name of the passenger through their records, maybe get the name and then approach the police, what he did was a crime.

You certainly should contact the airlines customer relations Department and demand a refund. If they do anything other then offer you a refund then contact Dept. of Transportation in Washington DC and share your story with them. That is totally unacceptable and you should not have to put up with it.

Yet another reason to never fly with United Airlines ever again. Next time go American or Northwest.
