I pet them and tell them good morning. They make my day just being there. And then I put them out to go potty.

Good morning my cutie pie, (she is a sweet Pomeranian) would you like to go outside for a walk? Isn't this what everyone says to their dog in the morning....with a different name and maybe not the cutie pie part, depending on the dog of course. Have a good night!

I have 2 Siberian Huskies that sleep in the house at night, so when I first get up, I say to them: "Come on girls, let's go outside." Then instead of going to the door to be let out, they both ignore what I have said and they go into the kitchen. They then sit down in front of the refrigerator, look up at the top of it (we keep their doggie treats on top of the refrigerator) and wait for a treat. They refuse to go outside in the morning until they get a treat first. It's not hard to see who is running the show at our house!

I have five greyhounds and one of them is VERY vocal in the mornings. Usually she is the one waking ME up! So I usually have to tell her to HUSH and GO LAY DOWN for the last hour before I actually HAVE to wake up! LOL!!!! She's a brat.

I kiss her on her head and tell her how much I love her. I get up and let her out to potty. When she comes in I give her a denta stix, which is her favorite treat. I love waking up and having her beside me. It makes my day so much better!!!

Then I let them go into the backyard, "Come on everybody, let's go pee outside!"

I say good morning baby, I love you, then I kiss him on the head and rub his belly for a little bit. then I feed him and give him water and go about my day.
