Are you male or female? If you are female, are you having menstrual cramps or cramps due to pregnancy? Normally, hot-compress is the home-remedy to relieve cramps. Don't take cold drinks or foods as that will constrict your muscles, causing further spasms. Heat dilates the muscles, thus will relieve any tension on the body. If not pregnant, you can mix 3 drops peppermint oil, 3 drops eucalyptus radiata oil and 3 drops marjoram sweet oil (all pure sessential oils) into 5ml of base oil in a glass or ceramic container and massage the area for 5mins. Then cover the area with a hot towel to warm it for a few minutes. That'll help relieve the cramp. But if you are pregnant, normal hot-packs will do the trick unless you can get hold of certain essential oils. You can use the above method by adding 1 drop jasmine oil (very expensive) and 1 drop roman chamomile instead. These oils are suitable for pregnant ladies. Do let me know if that helps you. =o)

Ibuprofin is supposed to be the best thing for cramps! Also, a heating pad, hot water bottle or a hot bath work wonders, as well. They also say (but I never could bring myself to do this) that mild exercise and stretching are supposed to alleviate the pain. I hope that helps!! I know how horrible cramps can be :(

If you're pregnant, since you're posting in the pregnancy category, it could mean that you've got a problem or possibly ready to go into labor. Call your Dr. for advice.

If you're not pregnant, then it's probably just cramps at your period. Use a hot water bottle or take some motrin or advil or something like that.'

you take a pill designed for period cramps, cause they relieve the pain and all the water, that makes you feel terrible. You take the pills, use a heating pad, lay in your bed and if your old enough to have sex do it, it relieves the pain too.

are you pregnant? Because I'm 8 months, and I started getting cramp like pain recently that my mom says is braxton hicks...inform your doctor your next visit just so they know and I try to stretch a little or rub my belly...that usually helps a little at least :).
