I have given him milk of magnesia, an enima, and peroxide. He has thrown up, and something tried to come out the rear. he is acting a lil' lathargic, Humae Society is saying thousands of dollar for as major surgery. Money I do not have. I have also massaged hi,. Is ther anythign I can do to help him deficate???? I feel sooooo bad for him

He needs to see a vet ASAP. If you cannot afford the vet care then you need to have him put down. He is not going to pass it on his own. None of those remedies will help. In fact the milk of magnesia and peroxide are just a waste of time. There is no way he is going to throw it up. Take it to the vet and do something now before your dog suffers and dies at home.

Why do you think he has a bone stuck in his colon? Sometimes they will pass but sometimes surgery is needed. If it is and you cannot afford it...I agree. Have him euthanized...not humane to let him suffer. Peroxide is to make them throw up...that won't help for sure. Add some oil to his food and some bread. The bread can wrap around the bone so it doesn't do anymore damage and the oil...obviously lubes things up. But again, please do not let him suffer.

Call a Vet...take him to an emergancy Vet...its either try to save him..a lot of places will work with you on the money issue...or risk loosing him. Why type of bone was it? If it was a ham bone then he's fine...

Please don't let your dog suffer any more....and he IS suffering. You're going to lose him if you don't take him to a vet. Try your best to work out a payment plan. Your dog deserves the best.
