Start on the stability ball with the ball placed at your naval, ever few days slide it down closer to your feet, little by little untill your stronge enough to have it at your ankles. No heres the important part...Start with 3 sets of 15. First a little wider then shoulder width then move in for another set of 15 at shoulder width, last move in at thumbs most touching keeping your elbows close to the body working the back of the arm. Keep this up and you will be just fine

Do several reps and sets w/ dumbell-weights. You could also join a work-out class or buy a video that has workouts specifically target your arm. Hope this helps.

My best suggestion to you is to get a workout partner, somebody who will help you push yourself. Plus, exercise is always better with a buddy.
