I really don't think God gets upset too easily. People are always griping about Him sending people to hell. God does not send people to hell, they send themselves there by the choices they make in this life. I wish I could see everyone saved.

God is the force of lifes energy, love and all that is positive- God cannot look upon sin because He is positive. To upset the harmony of the positive energy is upsetting God. It upsets the positive balance.
God loves us because we are made up of positive energy, and the more we stay positive the better our relationship to the goodness of life.
If you do things that are negative (sinning) this decreases your own energy and if you are a predominantly negative person, your happiness will be depleted too. This is what it means when God is upset.
Believe it or not, I am Christian. I believe wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ and that He was God (just to clear it up if you thought I was Hindu or something)- but I think the idea that people have of God is a bit off. God is not a human being, He is the eternal source of energy that creates and sustains life. Jesus WAS a human figure, but He was a manifestation of God. God (THE energy) created a body and walked with us in it. God came as Jesus to teach us as much as we could understand, mainly at an elementary level because our intelligence and ability to comprehend Him is physically limited.
People say that they believe in miracles, THE virgin birth, psychic power, ghosts, etc.- and if they only knew who and what God is, they would NOW believe for real- as much as they know there are fingers on their hands! Knowing Who and what God is, will explain in full all things that are hard to believe or understand in the Bible.
To answer your question; God can in a way be upset by us. When we sin, do things that are negative, or bad- we upset the balance of all good things. If we repent, which is to stop sinning and doing bad things- we fix it.
Also remember, the natural processes of life are not necessarily punishment from God. If you have bad things happening to you, try to combat them by handling them in a positive way- God is conditioning you. If you die, no matter how horrible it may be- it isnt because God is angry because God dont kill us, our own negativity does- its usually a consequence of negative action. In fact, if you do die from something, God loves you so much He accepts you if you believe. You have to believe though, because if you dont believe in something- it wont exist for you.

Hello rudy l.
What have we done? We have commited sin.
Can God get upset with us? Read Psalams 5:5. If I'm not mistaken it says thast he hates all that are sinners. Iniquity means lawlessness.
How can we fix it? Read Matthew 4:17 and Acts 2:38. What is sin? It may not be what you were taught. Read I John 3:4.
Psa 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
You have a good day.

Yes, I think God gets upset with us. Although none of us are perfect, and never will be, I don't think we try hard enough to be the best we can be. I do believe that God will knock us down just to make us look up at Him. I think we fix it by taking it to Him in prayer and genuinely try to do better at serving and pleasing Him.

Yes, God can get upset with us - both as individuals and as a nation. Fix it? Repent - turn from our current ways as individuals and as a nation. How? By taking accountability for our own actions. Taking responsibility for what we are accountable for and not being afraid to stand for what's moral, ethical, right, and honorable. These are the qualities that seem to have gone to the wayside in the last decade or two.

Yes, God is upset at our sin and the rebellion we live in. There's nothing you can do to fix it -- no amount of good works can make you holy enough for His Majesty. But he loves you, and that's why He sent His Son to die a sinner's death and pay the penalty for your sin. If you turn from your sins and put your trust in Jesus, he will save you. God will see you as righteous at that point.
A lot of folks on here don't believe that. That's the Christian perspective, and as far as I'm concerned, the truth.

yes HE can get mad at us..hence HIS wrath on mankind. umm...sodom and gamorra ring a bell. that's HIS anger. we can fix it by following HIS laws. once that can be established...which I think will never happen because of the evil in the world..then maybe things would get better. realistically this will never happen because earth is a testing place for everyone therefore no we can't fix it because HE hasn't commanded it to be so. hence the end of the world and judgment day. if you choose to believe in that.

I believe that God can get as you say "upset", disappointed, or just the opposite with us. We are his children. The only way to fix it is repent, or ask for forgiveness, from our hearts. He knows when you truly mean what you pray. Like Santa knowing if your naughty or nice.

For America to return to God, Christ!
We would have to get rid of Liberals!
Won't happen!
For us Christians we must hold to the truth as we enter the Tribulation (which Christ for the sake of the Elect has shortened).
And be faithful!

God laughs, cries, smiles, shows mercy, feels compassion.
gets angry-upset..... too, but it take a lot to get him at that point.
If you hurt God, pray, tell him that your sorry, and that you love him, do something to show him, sacrifice something in some way that it cost you, and done someone else good. THAT would please him, trust me on that one, he likes that, that demonstrates to God that you love him and that your sorry.
These are the words that from my perspectives, and what I learned from God that work the best....... LOVE, PRAYER, TRUTH, COMPASSION, SACRIFICE, TRUST GOD
