I know this one!
Actually, our bodies do digest corn. What they can't digest is the outer coating of the corn kernel - the skin.
So when you look at your doo-doos after you eat corn, you can see what looks like whole corn kernels. But they're not whole. It's just the skin. You've digested the rest.

While you do digest the polysaccharides in corn what you see afterwords is cellulose,a type of dietay fiber.Noones body digests fiber because humans (unlike animals like beavers who live on it) do not have the right kind of bacteria in heir digestive tract.Humans do have bacterias like acidopholus, lactbacilius in their intestine but these have no impact on the digestrion of fiber.

The last post is correct but that is if you chew up every kernal. They are small enough to swallow whole and some are not chewed and are whole when they come out. I think white shoepeg corn tastes the best mixed with Fordhook lima beans.

Because corn has dietary fibre . And our disgestive system don't disgest fibre , instead it is always pass out as **** . That is why when you have constipation , doctors will always ask you to eat a lot of fibre .
