I just want to know what you think about the way he works with dogs.

I watch his show everytime it is on, and I love watching him work with his pack. It amazes me how he can save so many dogs from being put down. I beleive if more people like him were around, that many dogs wouldn't have to be put down because they have bitten someone before. Also pitbulls(loving dogs if they are raised right, my uncle owns one and it is the sweetest thing ever.) wouldn't have to be banned in so many cities. I understand that they are used for fighting but so are other breeds so they should'nt be the only one targeted, it should be the owner who is blamed for having a dangerous dog, not the dog. If a dog gets out then they are'nt properly contained into the yard/house it is also not their fault. If a dog breaks a window(or something else similar) to get out you cant really blame that on the owner. I still cant beleive that he simply changes the way that the owners live, and the dog behaves.

I just love how he bonds with the dogs so much when he helps them. I love it when he uses his pack to help dogs. I also loved the dog whisperer week on national geographic. I watched every day. He is so talented. I really loved how he helped the hurricane Katrina dogs. Well i guess that is all i have to say for now. please answer and give me your opinion on what i think of him.

Since we got our DVR, I record the series and just love it. My favorite was the little toy pom that was so spoiled that she laid on the floor and threw a tantrum. I have a toy pom and it really hit home. It is hard not to spoil them because they are so baby-like, and like hers, mine doesn't know she is a dog either. That is one place, I just can't take his advice.

I have only had a chance to watch him a few times, but he does really seem to know what he is doing with the dogs that he rescues, and the ones that he works with that have behavior problems. I do also believe that many dogs have been given a "bad rep," due to incidences which have happened with other dogs who have been mishandled or mistreated. Isn't this the same type of thinking that we erroneously use when we pick a race or religion, which may be different from our own, to blame for whatever problems there are in the world. There are a lot of "problem" dogs and cats who have been put into different households who are absolutely fine now. All living creatures play off of each others emotions and reactions, especially the more subtle and internalized reactions. When some abused animals are removed from the abusive situations, it takes them a long time to trust again, and learn that their new person or pack leader is going to treat them well. The dog whisperer definitely has a good way with all the animals he works with, and has improved the lives of the dogs and people who love them.

I agree with you one hundred percent. You would be suprised...All the Dog whisper does is take a alpha pack mentality with the dog and teach the humans comon sense. your right if more people would pay attention to him then we would get a lot more enjoyment out of our pets as well as better behaved animals.

My husband and I watch him often. He is a wonderful person. His love for dogs shows through his actions. I wish also that there were a lot more people like him to teach the rest of us how to handle our pets. My sister-in-law bought my husband his book for his birthday present. What a wonderful gift. Now if we just had time to read it and pratice his teachings.
