Humans are too complicated and they have too many issues not only with religion. They will find another excuse to cause war.

If it wasn't religion, it would be politics.
For some reason, people can't tolerate that others have different opinions which could be as justified as their own.
If people tolerated everyone else and allowed them to have their own beliefs and opinions, we wouldn't have wars.

You are right. Although religion serves as a powerful force for war; no one will bend if they believe an perfect god is guiding them to war, it is not the only cause. Land, resources, and other differences in culture cause people of different nations to clash. War will not cease until there is nothing left to fight about. When you tell a man if he dies he goes to heaven which is a much better place than here. Go; you are doing the right thing God will be with you and protect you. Or 70 Virgins await you in heaven they shaved and cleaned up for these women. Before they blew themselves up.
Or This life is all there is, when you die you are just gone.
There is no after life, no heaven, no hell. You evolved from a frog.
When you die you go back to the ground.
Gee this is it??? You want someone to fight for you, go yourself.

Every man on the battle field on both sides believes that god is with him. He is doing the right thing. Or else he would be hiding somewhere. That is why communism folded. well, it would occur, but religion is a natural human-caused bias. The thing is that religion creates all modern wars, stereotypes, or the reasons previous to a war. Although war may not be eliminated, it would certainly be lessened.

It is because of the basic and fndamental cause of disagreement and intolernce among the humans . each one religon thinks that it is the whole sakle agent of god and any thing and everything should go togod only through their own prophet or messiah. They have imoposed reatrints on th/god hislef by this rule as the god is rendered incapable of dealing with any person except through their prophet or Messiah. So the gods themselves d onot know what religon they belong to and whom they should approach for dealing with the humans . That is why all the killinf=s ar happeing ing her and the gods are nable to do interfere withthe killers whoare posing as God' gods.
If they velieve that man's soul is God would any eliever in God kill and person for any thing . if any person has offended th god why should any human think of punishing the offende ? is it vecase the ?god id false and incapable of dealing with the offender . theyreliigons ar full of contradictiions and practicing everything contrary to what hey prtend to stand .
Ther pseudo religonsits are sowing the seeds of disenchant ment against the very concept of god in the minds of people by their misdeeds .

War would ofcourse continue.
But when people stop believing they are doing it for god, and stop believing that when they die they will go to paradise, the act of sending your children, friends, and countrymen to fight and die become MUCH less desired.
When religion is abandoned people will focus on this life, and on what they can do to improve it, rather then on a mythological fairytale that only pays off AFTER you die.
