How in the world do you think you can get rid of God. He always wins.

Revelation 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, Which is, and which was and which is to come, the Almighty.

He is the beginning and the end, that means you go first.

Of course we would be better off without God in our society, if we stoped wasting time worring about an imaginary figure (god) and focused on our actual problems we might get something done about them. The people who believe in god are often those doing the most to hurt society, yet they are full of self righteousness. There are many examples of religous texts being used out of context by ruling classes to control uneducated masses. I know more about the christian faith than most of it's so called followers, and I don't believe in it; however I follow the tennants of the faith which many others don't. How many of you christians have refused to give change to a bum? Even one time? Well then whatever you do unto the least of these.....

Another thing is that the so called christian sexual morals are destructive to society. All the unwed mothers are not sinners, they just didn't get sex education. This is withheld because it makes the christians who run the pta's in this country uncomfortable.

Societies who have gotten rid of God have really been in the dumps economically, morally and intellectually. Just look what happened to Russia, North Korea, China and Cuba for examples.

Society cannot get rid of God!!!! We can ignore Him, but we cannot get rid of Him!!! At the rate society is going He is going to get fed up with our behavior, as He did with Sodom and Gomorrah, and He'll end it all!! You will be judged for asking such a blasphemous question. We will all be judged for the many sins we commit. I pray you will make yourself right with God, invite Jesus into your life, before it's too late. May God have mercy on your soul.

No. As long as we obey the real commands of God and know to differentiate them from the commands made by men in the name of God. By God I mean the One who created Christ

Well obviously no.... what happened when we remove God from our own lives? It would be worse to try and remove Him as a whole. And I should remind you that removing Him from society doesnt make Him disappear, it just makes Him angry... and thats never pretty.

No, because God is good. When we start kicking God out of the schools, and other places, only evil is there.

WTH? your a christian? Why would it be beneficial for us to 'get rid' of God? God is our whole lives, he guides us daily, and is our everything!!! We can't get rid of god..its impossible.. you actually think you can get rid of him? you need to get over yourself and realize who is in control!

by what do you mean? As I see it, Theocracy is not the way, you need choice to be a true Christian. Communism is not the way either, another extreme which eliminates religious choices.
