just walk up to them and explain all the promblems you have been having then say that you need to take up councling to get through all of it.Then reassure them that it is a phase and with the help of a therapist you can get through it and overcome all fo the stress you have been having. Whatever you do PLEASE stop cutting yourself!! One of these days you may hit a wrong spot then you might die! suicide is NEVER the answer! much luck!

Go to a clinic. I have had some depression issues in the past, too. There are also hotlines to call in the phonebook. I went to a doctor and I was given meds and it really helped me out! I'm sorry your parents aren't very aware, mine weren't either. I even became bulimic/anorexic at one point when I was a teen.
Good luck sweetie!

You seem to be genuinely concerned . By all means talk to your parents .Ask them when you see them relaxed and open . tell them that you are worried and that you truly think you need to talk to someone . They should listen at that point. How ever if you go at them all hipped up and acting annoyed they will think that you are being a drama queen . Good luck and good health .

Talk to your family doctor, a senior relative, or someone from your church. They can help you discuss with your parents. If you have a crisis prevention service in your town you could give them a call...some have licensed therapists on site or they could give you references to therapists in your city or county health services whose job it is to work with young people on emotional issues. And try to relax, I know it's hard. Write me anytime at Y/A.

Talk to a friend, a school nurse even a teacher that you trust. It works. Tell them what you told us and they will help you.

if your mom and dad won't listen how about the school nurse? or principal? maybe a grandparent or aunt or uncle? you need help and you need someone who is going to get you that help. good luck.

First you need to find someone to talk to who you can trust, who isn't going to make you feel like what your telling them is dumb or that your trying to be cool, and definitely someone who isn't going to add to all your problems by adding there own. you need someone who is going to lesson and not judge you. if you want you can talk to me or ill give you numbers to places that will help you.
